This is a full list of the available IHME Portal API entities. Some of the entities are presented as root-level resources, and some represent related information of the root-level resources and are presented as their edges. The endpoints associated with each entity provide all the relevant data about that entity. Value objects that provide a mapping between identifiers and names aren't listed here and are documented with the corresponding endpoint documentation.
Data collection is an abstraction over a family of several datasets of different types grouped together under some principle
Age group is an entity that defines age range, e.g. 21-14, neonatal, etc.
Cause represents a single disease or injury or an aggregation of diseases and injuries that lead to death or disability
Condition detail notes contain miscellaneous information about primary entities, including modeling restrictions
Covariate describes other variables used in the modeling process to generate estimates
Forecast scenario defines a range of potential health outcomes for forecast data
Gender defines male, female, or both genders combined
Location describes an administrative or custom geographic unit
Measure defines the indicator for which results data are produced
Metric describes the unit by which a measure is expressed
REI is an aggregate entity for risks, etiologies, and impairments
Round defines an update to the GBD estimates
Sequela describes health states that result from a cause
